The Insize 2877 Digital Roller Thickness Gauge series is designed for fast, accurate thickness measurement of sheet metal, plastic, and other flat or coiled materials using a roller contact and spring-loaded spindle. The roller design allows the gauge to be rolled smoothly along a workpiece surface, making it easy to take multiple thickness readings quickly without repositioning a standard flat contact point. Each gauge features a large digital display with inch/mm switching, zero-setting, data preset, and both absolute and incremental measurement modes, and preset data is retained in memory even after the unit is powered off. Available in ranges from 0-4.5mm up to 0-10mm, with resolution options as fine as .00005"/0.001mm, the 2877 series is well suited for manufacturing, quality control, and material testing applications where speed and repeatability matter.
