The Mag-Mate Manhole PowerArm™, available in both manual (MCLPAM1000) and electric (MCLPAE2000) winch versions, has a 400 lb working capacity, the PowerArm attaches to a standard 2″ receiver hitch and uses a 3-foot, 180° swing arm to position a magnet (sold separately) precisely over the center of the lid. This setup reduces manual strain, eliminates unsafe pry bar usage, and enables one-person operation even for heavy or recessed covers.
