The Phase2+ 900-367 represents a significant step forward from conventional dead weight Rockwell hardness testers, replacing mechanical weight stacks with a direct-loading closed-loop load cell system that delivers higher speed, greater accuracy, and fully automated operation from a single touch. This digital Rockwell hardness tester with fully automated load/unload procedures affords highly sensitive and accurate readings, with a micro computer-controlled touch screen and USB output to PC.

The 900-367 offers programmable scale conversions, dwell times, statistical capabilities, and a test counter, and is capable of testing in all standard Rockwell hardness scales. Where it sets itself apart from digitally upgraded analog testers is in its force application method: the direct loading method with load cell eliminates the typical dead weight system, enabling a high-speed test cycle with extremely accurate loading control removing the friction, vibration sensitivity, and mechanical variability inherent to dead weight designs.

Compatible with all standard Rockwell hardness scales including HRA, HRBW, HRC, HRE, and HRF, the 900-367 also provides automatic conversions to HB, HV, and Superficial Rockwell scales all selectable from the touch screen interface. Upper and lower limit settings support GO/NO GO pass-fail inspection workflows, while the built-in statistical functions allow operators to track and analyze test data over time directly on the instrument. Conforms to ASTM E-18 and includes NIST-traceable test blocks.
