The Phase2+ 900-391 is the Auto-Turret upgrade to Phase2+'s proven micro Vickers hardness tester platform, offering everything found in the 900-390 series plus a built-in motorized turret that automates the transition between the indenting and viewing positions - eliminating a common source of operator error and improving workflow efficiency in both high-volume production and precision laboratory environments.
All 900-391 series models come with the automatic turret built directly into the machine. The auto-turret sensor prevents maloperation of the pressure turret during testing a critical safeguard that protects both the indentor and the objective lens from contact damage caused by inadvertent manual switching under load. The 900-391C and 900-391D models go further, giving operators the ability to control the turret directly through the software, enabling fully PC-driven test sequences from indentation through measurement without touching the instrument.
The 900-391 series includes Auto-Turret, video camera, adapter, USB output cable, and a choice of four variants of measurement software giving users the capabilities of machines that cost thousands more. Conforming to ASTM E-384/92 Vickers hardness tester standards, the 900-391 series offers unmatched repeatability across a testing range of 1–2967 HV, and can also measure Knoop hardness after installing an optional Knoop indentor. A 5-year warranty and free lifetime technical support are included with every model.
