Phase2+ SRG-2200 Handheld Surface Roughness Tester

The Phase2+ SRG-2200 is a next-generation mini surface roughness tester developed by the Phase II Metrology Group, featuring high accuracy, a wide range of application, simple operation, and stable performance. It is widely applicable in surface roughness testing of all kinds of metals and non-metals.

The 1.14-inch IPS TFT display presents the choice of roughness parameter - Ra, Rms (Rq), Rt, and Rz - at the touch of a button, combined with the selected cutoff length. External calibration of the surface roughness value is possible by means of a built-in calibration feature, which makes adjustment of this instrument very easy. Data output via Bluetooth makes saving surface roughness results fast and easy.

The SRG-2200 is a skidded tester, meaning the stylus must move in a straight line and it is not intended to measure across a curved surface. Within that constraint, the instrument operates on various surface types - not only flat, but also outer cylinder, outer cone, grooves, and recesses greater than 80 x 30 mm - making it suitable for inspection departments, quality control, shop floor use during machining, assembly operations, and on-site testing. The SRG-2200 stores up to 500 values and transmits data via Bluetooth, runs on a single AA battery, and weighs just 0.5 lbs (220 g). Data output software is included.
